Ne0-Psychedelia is exactly what it sounds like. A new form of psychedelic rock. It features much experimentation in the studio, with the use of different studio effects and instruments (including synthesizers), and it often has a more polished sound due to the better technology of today. This includes Many different genres of music blending together, along with psychedelic rock from the past.
Temples- Formed in England by James Bagshaw (Lead Guitar, Vocals) and Thomas walmsley (Bass), they started as a duo and recorded a few songs together until they got recognized by a record company and were asked to do some live shows. They recruited Adam Smith (Rhythm Guitar, Keyboards) and Samuel Toms (Drums). Their first and only album (so far) came out in 2014 and is entitled Sun Structures.
Tame Impala- Formed in Australia, there are two sides to Tame Impala. First and most importantly there is the recording part, Kevin Parker. Parker is the mind behind the band writing all the music. On almost all tame impala studio records, Parker is playing every instrument and performing all the vocals. Parker's music features lots of studio effects to achieve his signature trippy sound. Then there is the live side of Tame Impala. The live line-up of the group is always changing [although Dominic Simper (guitar, keyboards, bass) and Jay Watson (Keyboards, Drums) have always been in the live band], with different members playing multiple instruments, but it is always very tight. When playing Live, Parker sticks with playing Lead Guitar and vocals. They have been constantly touring the globe.

Foxygen- an American duo made up of Sam France (Vocals) and Jonathan Rado (guitar, Keyboards). Much like Tame Impala, Foxygen is two different bands. France and Rado record all of the music on the records, then they have a band that tours with them. Most of their music has a very 60s soul feel to it. They started off making their own records and movies until they finally got recognized by a record company. They have been touring a lot, and in between touring, guitarist/keyboardist Jonathan Rado released a solo album full of his own unique songs.
Pond- formed in Australia by Nick Allbrook (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), Joe Ryan (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), and Jay Watson (vocals, guitar, drums, keyboards). One of the main thing that stands out about this band is that they are all multi-instrumentalists. They switch instruments frequently during their live shows which is unique for any band. Their music is very psychedelic and experimental, but their live performances are always exciting. Pond also has a very close relationship with Tame Impala (mentioned earlier); Jay Watson and Nick Allbrook were both previous members, and Joe Ryan did the visuals for tame impala.
